“ No pork here, as advertised! Apparently Kuala Lumpur is pork free in many establishments due to culture and religious beliefs of the people. This restaurant was smart to advertise that right under the signage and in all their ads. Situated on the top floor of a mall, it needs to compete with other restaurants even though the cuisine is different. While in KL, my family and I wanted to make a point to try all the food that each region was known for but this place, was the exception. This Taiwanese establishment can be found in the USA but I've never gotten to it. The choice was simple, try it here! We are in Asia, if it's not authentic here, where else?! The soup dumplings we chose were the lamb. Great texture of the meat with a hint of the grassy undertones I expect with Lamb. Not gamey at all. The other favorite was the sauteed spinach. Perfectly sauteed with garlic and oil. It was refreshing. One portion of soup we chose to order was the chicken and ginger. Really nice, clear broth with a piece of chicken inside the bowl. Simple. My guilty pleasure, red bean paste soup dumplings for dessert. I almost didn't share with my hubby. He's not into red bean anyway. But I did offer and even he said it was good. LOL We sampled some egg yolk buns, white bun with a soft and semi-runny yolk. Note: for some reason I can't add my photos to Yelp now. I'll keep trying. ”
